Ever tried to keep a wig on a bald dancer? Wrapping the bandage around the head, near the hairline, gives a base to pin a wig on for someone with no or very little hair. Also useful as a base when pinning on heavy headdresses. The bandage sticks to itself and is thin enough not to add bulk.
