Sizes: 0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0  are Very Fine Hooks - Single Hair

Sizes: No 1, No 2, No 3 are Fine Hooks - For 2-3 Hairs

Sizes: No 4, No 5, No 6 are Medium Hooks for Course Hair 2- 4 Hairs

Sizes: No 7, No 8, No 9 are Coarse Hooks for a lot of hair on hook or very Course hair eg Tail Yak

Sizes: No 10, No 12 these hooks are generally used for Whipping together a foundation ( using the hook to sew the foundation together with clear thread)

**These sizes are general - the more experience you have knotting/ventilating the more you will be able to lift different amounts of hair with different hooks.
